In 1982, nestled in the city of Oklahoma City, psychologist Dr. J. Ronald Cruse embarked on a visionary journey. Recognizing the profound need for a private Christian counseling service, Dr. Cruse pioneered the inception of Christian Clinic for Counseling. Uniting his faith with a deep commitment to mental health, he envisioned a sanctuary where individuals could find solace, healing, and restoration.

Driven by a conviction that mature, state-licensed Christian counselors are indispensable in addressing significant mental health challenges, Dr. Cruse anchored our clinic upon the timeless truths of the Bible. For over four decades, Scripture has remained the cornerstone of our practice, guiding our counsel and illuminating pathways to healing.

In 2018, embracing a new chapter in our story, Christian Clinic for Counseling transitioned into a non-profit entity under the auspices of Edmond's First Baptist Church. Led by Dr. Cruse as CEO, our clinic embarked on a renewed mission to serve both the church family and the broader Edmond community.

In June 2022, we embarked on a new chapter as we moved into a counseling building nestled behind Edmond's First Baptist Church. Here, amidst the serenity of our new surroundings, we continue our legacy of compassionate care and unwavering commitment to healing.
